This cake combines the flavors of cream cheese, butter and classic yellow cake into a delicious gooey cake.
1 box yellow cake mix
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 block cream cheese (softened)
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
9×13 greased pan
- Combine 1 egg, 1/4 cup buttermilk and cake mix in a mixing bowl. Stir with a spoon until combined. Mixture will be thick. Spread into pan as evenly as possible
- With a mixer blend cream cheese, 2 eggs, vanilla extract, and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour evenly over cake mix blend.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350 (should be golden brown)
- Cool and serve
