Eat like you LOVE yourself šŸ’ššŸ„’šŸ’š

Sometimes we indulge, grab something not so great on the go or even over eat (šŸ™‹šŸ¼)… but for the times that we can, Eat CLEAN! Please.. your body will thank you!


I’m fortunate enough to like pretty much any fresh veggie!

 I usually pull inspiration from whatever I have on hand. I’ve read recipes that instruct you not to add salt until serving so the veggies don’t get watery… am I the only weirdo who likes this?? It’s like a delicious salty soup after the veggies are all gone… almost like salad pot liquor šŸ˜‚

This combo is a favorite…

Carrots

Celery

Tomatoes

Onion 

Parsley

Green pepper

Italian dressing season packet

Vinegar 

Salt

Pinch of sugar

I cut all my veggies to a similar size. Sprinkle salt, about a tsp of Italian dressing seasoning, a pinch of sugar, and then a tablespoon of vinegar. Toss and refrigerate for a few hours.

Just use whatever veggies you like or have on hand. Toss them together with a pinch of salt & sugar and a light amount of your favorite dressing. Let that marinate a while and the flavors will come together, soaking into the veggies! 

This helps you not need to douse the salad with too much salt or too much dressing. A little bit can go a long way if you let it marinate (;
