Poke Cake- Banana Pudding

I’m sure we’ve all seen the many many pins for these poke cakes! Boy are they delicious.

I made my banana pudding ahead of time.

Prepared a yellow cake according to the box in a 9×13 pan.

I had some super fabulous little hands to do the mixing for me!!

When the cake was all done baking and cooling I poked holes with the blunt end of a wooden spoon.. about an inch apart throughout. (Would’ve liked to have taken a photo but little hands helped with that as well๐Ÿ˜‚)

Pour an even layer of pudding on top.

The next layer will be whipped cream or cool whip… then vanilla wafer crumbs and garnish.

This is SO delicious! Refrigerate. ๐Ÿ˜

A box of yellow or butter cake mix

Vanilla wafers (about 10-15 crushed)

2 boxes of instant pudding

Cool whip or whipped cream

Optional: bananas and extra cookies for garnish

  1. Make pudding and cake according to box.
  2. Poke desired amount of holes throughout cake
  3. Layer cake, pudding, whipped cream and then garnish

**tip: refrigerate after pudding layer for an hour so that pudding will have a chance to set before trying to smooth out cream on top
